Professor Miguel Ferreira, BPI | Fundação “la Caixa” Chair and President of Nova School of Business & Economic’s (Nova SBE) Faculty Council, was appointed Scientific Consultant for the Study Program of the Francisco Manuel dos Santos Foundation.

The well-known study program of the Foundation, which gathers specialists who promote and validate the development of studies in three main areas – economics, institutions, and society, has just appointed Miguel Ferreira, Full Professor at Nova SBE, as the Scientific Consultant in Economics.

The program members are selected through an open and transparent application process to ensure the rigor and independence of the research produced.

The Francisco Manuel dos Santos Foundation aims to promote and expand the knowledge of Portuguese society and thus created a study area that, since 2012, has published more than five dozen academic studies in economics, institutions, and society.

Miguel Ferreira will therefore be one of the specialists of the Foundation exploring the priority topics and assisting the hired research teams.
