  • Non-profit startup of the Year Award for Patient Innovation at The Healthcare Startup Awards, London, UK (2016)
  • The Secretary-General of the United Nations, Ban Kin-moon, recognized Patient Innovation as an example of "Commitments to Collective Action" due to its contribution to the UN's Sustainable Development Goals. Mr. Ban Ki-moon deemed the project "highly encouraging" (2016).
  • Featured in the exhibition "Beyond the Lab: The DIY Science Revolution" organized by the London Science Museum. The exhibition visited 29 European countries from 2016 to 2018.
  • Patient Innovation was the "most voted project from the crowd" (with about 26,000 votes) and a semifinalist at Harvard Heath Innovation Challenge, Harvard University, Cambridge, MA, USA (2014).
