In this Field Lab, students learn how to use the VCW-Value Creation Wheel meta-framework to co-create, innovate, and make decisions while incorporating different stakeholders’ perspectives and conciliating divergent arguments to provide sustainable solutions. This Field Lab focuses on solving REAL organizational challenges regarding products, services, processes, technologies, and strategy while considering the need to develop sustainable solutions that create value.
The VCW defines a Key Decision Maker as someone with access to the 4Ms: Manpower-Team, Minute-Time, Money-Budget, and Motivation-Engagement. For several decades, consultants and organizations have used tools to solve complex and multifaceted organizational problems. However, Key Decision Makers (KDMs) and stakeholders are often not engaged with the final solutions and do not support their implementation by providing the 4Ms. In the VCW Field Lab, students engage the KDMs and stakeholders in the project challenge from the first moment and make them feel they own the final solutions.
