Students from other schools within Universidade NOVA de Lisboa and other higher education institutions, as well as high school graduates who have not yet enrolled in a university, may apply to Nova SBE's bachelor's isolated curricular units as external students.
The acceptance depends on available vacancies and an evaluation of the candidate’s academic background, ensuring they meet course prerequisites. External students can take up to 60 ECTS in total, with a limit of 14 ECTS per semester, subject to availability.
First-year courses are taught in Portuguese and English, though availability may vary by semester, while second- and third-year courses are conducted exclusively in English.
Applications:
Applications for isolated curricular units must be submitted via the form available on this page during the application period, along with the required documentation.
Results are sent to candidates at the email address provided during the application process. It is the candidate's responsibility to regularly check their email, including advertisement, spam, and junk folders, as well as to comply with deadlines in case clarifications are requested.
If the isolated course units are accepted by Nova SBE and subsequently accepted by the candidates, payment will be due.
