Application to Isolated Curricular Units

Students from other NOVA University Lisbon faculties, and other higher education universities, can apply for the Nova SBE Bachelor’s and Master’s isolated curricular units as external students.

Students who have finished High School but have not enrolled for college also have the possibility to apply to Nova SBE's Bachelor’s isolated curricular units as external students.

The acceptance of applications for isolated curricular units is subject to the available vacancies and the evaluation of the candidate’s curriculum (based on their background and aligned with the requirements of the courses they wish to attend).

An external student wishing to enroll in Bachelor’s courses may take up to a maximum of 60 ECTS and can only enroll in a maximum of 30 ECTS per semester. Requests will always be subject to existing vacancies and prior requirements for courses. Additionally, first-year courses are lectured in Portuguese and English (there are semesters in which courses may be available in only one of these languages), and second and third-year courses are taught in English.

Students from other NOVA University Lisbon faculties pay a reduced price when they enroll in isolated curricular units.
