International Master's in Finance

Study Abroad

It’s a global world we live in, so it’s also our responsibility to make sure that you get the chance to go abroad and get in touch with different ways of living, studying, and working. Choose the best program that suits your needs.

The International Master’s in Finance includes a compulsory internationalization requirement that can be completed through one of the following options: an international internship, a Double Degree, an exhange program or the CEMS MIM.

Exchange Programs

Exchange Programs

Applications for an exchange semester are done twice a year: September and February, for an exchange on the following semester.

Students are required to rank their choice of partner school (12 maximum) and provide a specific list of documents when applying.

A ranking of applicants is built following a specific formula to be communicated to the eligible students and the allocation is done considering the student’s position and slot availability.

Double Degree

Double Degree

Applications for the Double Degree take place at the same time, and in the same form, as the application for the International Master's in Finance. Candidates should list their first and second preference of Partner School and present a motivation letter justifying why they have selected these two options.

If accepted in the International Master's in Finance, and the pre-screening for the Double Degree is positive, candidates will be called for an interview (online) for one of the two options listed in their application.

Even if they are not accepted in one of the two Double Degree options, candidates can still keep their place in the International Master's in Finance, completing the International Master's in Finance international requirement with one of the other available alternatives (international internship or exchange semester).

CEMS MIM

CEMS MIM

The CEMS MIM at Nova SBE is a two-year Master’s program at the forefront of the Nova SBE Masters’ offer.

In year 1, students follow the International Master's in Finance curriculum. In year 2, the CEMS MIM combines transversal topics, courses, seminars, and projects developed in a synchronized way by the 34 business schools of the Alliance. CEMS Year 2 students study one semester at Nova SBE and one semester in one of the other 33 CEMS business schools.

Candidates interested in combining the International Master's in Finance with the CEMS MIM should apply for both programs at the same time. Even if they are not accepted in the CEMS MIM, students can still keep their place in the International Master's in Finance, completing the International Master's in Finance international requirement with one of the other available alternatives (international internship or exchange semester).
