NOVA School of Law's development strategy focuses on internationalization as a condition for its success in an increasingly competitive world leading to its participation in international cooperation networks with universities and schools in the area of Law.
NOVA School of Law participates in the following exchange programs:
- Erasmus+ program, which offers students mobility for learning, internship or training purposes (up to two semesters abroad);
- Themis – The International Legal Network of Excellence. A network involving eight top European universities as well as universities in Asia and Oceania. These schools came together to create a new standard in business and law education in response to an ever increasing demand for legal professionals with international knowhow and expertise.
- Padre António Vieira Program (PPAV). An education and training program that promotes students’ mobility between NOVA School of Law and Brazilian law schools.
- Exchange program with the University of Macau; E.MA-European Master’s Degree in Human Rights and Democratization; Almeida Garrett Program, which allow students to study at a Portuguese public university.
In addition, Universidade NOVA de Lisboa offers other exchange programs involving other schools which also host exchange students, namely International Credit mobility.
