European Scaleup Institute

The Nova SBE Haddad Entrepreneurship Institute is joining forces with seven other top European Business schools to produce and share data, insights and knowledge on scaleups. In 2023 we officially launched the European Scaleup Institute, a platform of Europe academic experts and practitioners for scaleups, high-growth firms, governmental organizations and policymakers to address the scaleup gap.

The Search Fund and ETA Conference is a premier event focused on Entrepreneurship through Acquisition (ETA). It brings together investors, CEOs, entrepreneurs, and business leaders to explore the latest trends and opportunities in the search fund model and its impact on small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) across Europe. The conference provides a platform for expert discussions, knowledge sharing, and collaboration, offering insights into the strategic and operational aspects of ETA.

The Institute holds annually the Entrepreneurship & Innovation Symposium. This event aims to position the Nova SBE Haddad Entrepreneurship Institute as a thought leader on Entrepreneurship in Portugal and Europe.

Every year it welcomes international academics to present and discuss the latest research results on entrepreneurship and innovation under various topics, fostering relationships among participants.
