CEMS Master's in International Management

CEMS students at Nova SBE have the exclusive opportunity to receive personalized guidance to help them achieve their professional goals. Nova SBE offers five Coaching Tracks to the CEMS students:

• “Tactical Career Planning” For students who already have a job offer, or are very clear about their career plan – This track is managed by AMROP (Executive Search Firm).
• “Owning your Career Path” For students who are open to multiple career options or unsure about their plans – With the support of a dedicated professional coach.
• “Social & Environmental Impact” For students who ambition to use business as a force for good, either working for corporates, Non-Governmental Organizations, or eventually becoming social entrepreneurs – This track is managed by Nova SBE Professor in sustainability, impact, social entrepreneurship and innovation.
• “Entrepreneurship – Start your Own Business” for students who wish to develop their entrepreneurial venture or work in Venture Capital – Alongside the Nova SBE Haddad Entrepreneurship Institute.
• “Getting a Job in Consulting/Investment Banking” For students who ambition to work in top strategy consulting or investment banking – with the support of Nova SBE CEMS Alumni working in the world's most prestigious strategy consulting firms and investment banks.

Additionally, students have exclusive access to the following CEMS events and platforms, in support of their job search:

• The Annual Career Forum – a two-day job fair comprised of skill seminars, company presentations, CV revision, a speed networking session, and pre-scheduled job interviews.
• CEMS Career Connect – a 5-day global online event with over 300 job and internship openings posted in 30+ locations
• CEMS Career Center: database with internships and job positions from CEMS Corporate Partners and alumni, daily job alerts with specific criteria to your profile and tools to help you build a CV tailored to global business standards
• A Global Advisory and Mentoring Program: connect with CEMS alumni to gain inside tips regarding potential employers, industries and career paths

This is a NOVA University Lisbon’s Rectory initiative that involves all NOVA schools. It aims to produce information about the career trajectory of all NOVA students regardless of their study cycle. Every year, it evaluates the professional activity of those who graduated to provide the NOVA community with rigorous and reliable indicators about the career and placement of its graduates’ achievements.
