Bachelor's Programs

Transfers and Changes

Transfers and changes refer to the process by which a student enrolls in a different institution or course than the one(s) they have previously registered for in prior academic years.

Starting from the academic year 2025/26, candidates wishing to transfer to a Bachelor's program at Nova SBE (only for Management and Economics) must present proof that they have completed one of the combinations of national exams (or legally equivalent exams) as outlined below:

  • Mathematics A + Portuguese
  • Mathematics A + Physics and Chemistry
  • Mathematics A + Economics
  • Mathematics A + Geography
  • Mathematics A + English
  • Mathematics A + Philosophy

After the candidate is accepted as a Nova SBE student, they can ask for the accreditation of the courses taken at a previous Bachelor's degree (maximum of 30 ECTS), after the analysis and decision of the Pedagogical Council.

Candidates can apply for this competition if:

  • They are Portuguese and are enrolled in Bachelor’s degree at an university but have not finished it;
  • They must have taken the national secondary education exams corresponding to the entrance tests established for that pair, for that year, within the framework of the general access regime.

To be admitted, candidates need a minimum of 13,5 (scale of 0-20) on the following formula: 25% Mathematics A Exam Grade + 10% Portuguese or Physics and Chemistry or Economics or Geography or English or Philosophy Exam Grade + 25% Final High School GPA.

Candidates will be ordered to occupy the available vacancies for this contest according to the selection criteria. On the selection formula, they will have to obtain a final grade of over 12,5 to be admitted.

Candidates will be able to apply to their 1st choice Bachelor’s program (Management or Economics) and, in case they wish to, a second Bachelor’s choice. Candidates will be evaluated and listed according to their final grade.

The application fee (not reimbursable) has a cost of 70 EUR.

Applications must be exclusively submitted through the online form available on this page.

All the decisions are communicated on our website, and all possible questions will be emailed to each candidate by email, individually.

Candidates are responsible for checking their emails regularly during this process (including spam and the trash folder).

If candidates do not receive any communication from the School, they should send an email or call the Admissions Office. Admitted candidates who do not confirm their acceptance by the stipulated deadline will lose their place.
