The Positive Impact Rating 2022 Report (PIR) results, which evaluate the social impact business schools worldwide have on sustainability, are out, and Nova School of Business & Economics (Nova SBE) moved up a position and is now considered a "progressing school."
According to the Positive Impact Rating Report 2022, which assesses the social impact levels of 45 business schools from 21 countries, Nova SBE is now considered a "progressing school" with a higher ranking position. The report analyzes students' gender, nationality, and program (undergraduates and postgraduates) and presents their energizing (culture and governance), education (programs, learning methods, and student support), and engaging score (role model and public engagement). Nova SBE scored 7,8 in the first parameter (energizing) and 7,5 in education and engaging, thus achieving a general score of 7,6 (on a scale from 0 to 10).
The "Positive Impact Rating" is a rating created by business schools' specialists based on a survey conducted by learners. The data is collected by student clubs and associations that distribute it across their campi to assess their business schools' efforts in energizing, educating, and engaging the communities towards a more sustainable world. This year, the report was presented at the UN PRME Global Forum and was entitled "The Role of Business Schools in times of crises."
This is an important recognition for Nova SBE, given that in 2020 had already officially become one of the participating institutions of PRME's fourth Champions cycle. And it is also an important acknowledgment of the commitment it has been having to improve the means through which it can have a positive impact by transforming business and management education in support of the SDG.
