Community Engagement

Community Engagement is the area dedicated to fostering participation, co-creation, and mutual support among students, faculty, staff, alumni, local partners, and broader society.

Its mission is to enrich the living, learning, and working experience on campus by promoting cultural, social, and civic initiatives that connect diverse stakeholders through shared values and meaningful interactions.

This area serves as a bridge between the academic environment and the outside world, enhancing dialogue, collaboration, and social impact through inclusive programs, creative activations, and strong partnerships.

Programs

This inspirational initiative encourages secondary school students to pursue higher education through interactive workshops on topics like entrepreneurship, economics, and sustainability. It includes a student pitch about university life, academic programs, and a campus tour (both done by Nova SBE students)—offering a first-hand glimpse into the opportunities of higher education.

Seniors from Cascais area took part in special Finance for All sessions. A two-hour class focussed on financial and digital literacy led by an experienced instructor. After the session, a Nova SBE ambassador conducted a campus tour with the group.
