Nova School of Business & Economics (Nova SBE) joined CFA Society Portugal to help promote its Ethics and ESG award, which aims to reinforce the importance of ethics in the finance sector and the trust in financial brokers’ behavior in Portugal.

To help promote high ethical standards in the finance sector, CFA Society Portugal established the Ethics and ESG Award that incentivizes higher education students to develop research papers that actively contribute to more transparent and sustainable markets. Nova SBE was one of the invited higher education institutions so that students can have at their disposal another tool that fosters their individual and collective potential.

Any Nova SBE student who is concluding its Master’s and is working on their Master’s thesis under an ethics-related topic and subjects with environmental, social, and corporate governance are eligible given that promote more efficient, transparent, and sustainable markets.

Nova SBE students can submit their Master’s thesis until December 20, 2021, at midnight. The award is valued at 5000€, which is awarded to the three winning theses. The author of the best one received the highest amount (3000€). CFA Society Portugal will announce the winning Master’s theses to the representatives of each university before March 31, 2022.
