Research Areas

Management

The Management area is a multidisciplinary group comprised of four sub-areas: Management & Organizations; Marketing; Operations, Technology and Innovation Management; and Strategy & Entrepreneurship. The diversity of academic backgrounds, methodological approaches, and academic interests promotes an open environment, which is reflected in our evidence-based, socially responsible, integrative approach to teaching. Our faculty develops disciplinary and multidisciplinary research that addresses contemporary business and societal challenges and aims at improving management practice and informing society at large. By tackling issues such as sustainability, technological innovation, and strategic management, our faculty contributes to the development of new knowledge and practical solutions that can be applied in various organizational contexts.

We emphasize the importance of collaboration and knowledge sharing, both within the academic community and with industry partners. This collaborative spirit is reflected in our teaching methods, which often involve case studies, project-based learning, and interactions with business leaders. Our goal is to equip students with the skills and insights needed to become effective and responsible leaders in their respective fields.

Through our commitment to excellence in research and teaching, we strive to make a positive impact on the business world and society. Our integrative approach ensures that our graduates are not only knowledgeable in their specific areas of study but also capable of thinking critically and acting ethically in a complex and ever-changing global environment.
