Nicholas Hirschey had his paper “Do Municipal Bond Dealers Give their Customers ‘Fair and Reasonable’ Pricing?”, co-authored with John Griffin and Samuel Kruger (University of Texas at Austin), cited in the Wall Street Journal and in Bloomberg Law. The study shows that municipal-bond dealers are failing to provide their customers with the best execution and fair pricing, despite customer protection rules.
