The plan of the Social Leapfrog is to welcome yearly batches of ten social organizations. The participants' scouting is done through an open call process with clearly defined selection criteria that follows a specific regulation. 

The program aims at social organizations simultaneously oriented towards their social mission and revenue creation from their own product sale or services that fulfill the pre-defined list of eligibility criteria. 

The 4th edition is scheduled to take place in September 2023.

FAQ

At the moment there is no monetary award from the Program, although the enjoyment of the various resources available has a high associated value.

The program has mandatory face-to-face activities, such as workshops. In addition, master's courses and executive education are mostly face-to-face at Nova SBE's campus in Carcavelos.

The participation in the Program is completely free. However, any costs derived from travel and accommodation of employees at Nova SBE are the sole responsibility of the participating organizations.

Yes, as long as you meet the eligibility criteria set out in the guideline for application.

To benefit from training and personalized follow-up, which meets the needs and characteristics of each Organization, through the resources available in the Nova SBE community. It is important to
point out that the practical benefits that the Organizations will receive are intrinsically dependent on the investment in terms of time and dedication that are deposited in the Program's activities.

Organizations that meet the eligibility criteria indicated in the guideline and whose appreciation from the analysis of the various documents submitted in the application, and others, is favourable are selected for the Diagnosis phase. During the Diagnosis phase, Organizations undergo a legal, fiscal, accounting and management assessment, so that they can advance to the Experience phase. If nonconformities are identified in any of the dimensions mentioned above, the Organizations finish their participation in the Program without being able to proceed to the next phase.

The training and monitoring provided throughout the Experience phase will be developed in a customized way, taking into account the needs and particularities of each Organization. It should be noted that the support provided within the Program is limited to Nova SBE's areas of expertise.

Organizations are requested to make available between 3 to 5 members of their teams to participate in the activities planned throughout the program. The Members does not need to be fixed, thus allowing for rotation and knowledge transfer between participants.

Yes, the employees who participate in training will have access to a certificate of participation with the number of hours of the training.
