Jorge Braga de Macedo received an Honoris Causa Doctorate from the University of Évora. The university’s dean, Ana Costa Freitas, recalled “the excellence of the academic curriculum in the area of Economics and the recognition, both nationally and internationally, of the competence of Braga de Macedo”, also emphasizing “his strong connection to the University of Évora, in particular with the Department of Economics” which led to this award.
