Inês Póvoa is currently a PhD student in Economics at Nova SBE, working on firm-level effects of extreme weather events, such as droughts and wildfires, and their implications for public policy. She is also a Teaching Assistant at Nova SBE, where she teaches Microeconomics. Since 2021, she works as researcher at the Office for Strategy and Studies at the Ministry of Economy and Maritime Affairs.
