Miguel Pina e Cunha é Professor de teoria da organização e comportamento organizacional e Vice-Diretor para a Inovação e Impacto na Nova Escola de Negócios e Economia, Universidade Nova de Lisboa, Lisboa, Portugal. A sua investigação trata, sobretudo, do surpreendente (paradoxo, improvisação, acaso, zemblanidade, círculos viciosos) e do extremo (organização positiva, genocídio). Miguel foi co-autor (com Arménio Rego e Stewart Clegg) das virtudes da liderança: Desafio contemporâneo aos gestores globais (Oxford University Press, 2012) e recebeu o prémio de melhor artigo de 2015 da European Management Review.
