Ilya Okhmatovskiy é Professor Associado de Estratégia.Anteriormente, lecionou na Universidade McGill e na Universidade do Sul da Califórnia, onde obteve o grau de doutor em Administração de Empresas. A sua investigação centra-se nas relações entre empresas e governo, governança corporativa, instituições de mercado, estados em desenvolvimento e transição para a energia verde. A sua investigação foi apoiada por várias bolsas e publicada nas revistas Organization Science, Organization Studies, Journal of Management, Journal of Management Studies e outras. Ilya é membro dos conselhos editoriais da Strategic Organization, Global Strategy Journal e Corporate Governance: An International Review. Ele atuou como editor convidado do Journal of World Business e do Journal of Management Studies, bem como editor sênior da Management and Organization Review. Ele também coeditou o Oxford Handbook of State Capitalism and the Firm, publicado pela Oxford University Press.
