In the Financial Times Master's in Finance ranking, which annually lists the best Master's in Finance globally, Nova School of Business & Economics (Nova SBE) reaches the 9th position in Europe and 11th worldwide, rising 4 and 3 positions, respectively. Nova SBE continues to be recognized as the highest-ranked Portuguese school.

According to the Financial Times, with this rise in the ranking, Nova SBE has become part of the elite group of schools offering Master's in Finance.

"The schools are divided into three groups (...) The TOP 11 schools, from HEC Paris to Nova SBE, form the elite group of providers of Master’s in Finance programs", refers the Financial Times.

The 2022 Financial Times Master's in Finance ranking assesses and lists the top 55 Master's in Finance from around the world, contemplating 19 indicators to rank the quality of the Master's and the schools in three main dimensions: career progress of graduates, school diversity and research, and international experience.

To achieve these results, Nova SBE scored high and consistently in most of the criteria, including an increase in the salary indicator.

The Portuguese school stands out in the Top 10 in 'Work International Mobility' (9the) and 'Internacional Course Experience' (8th). In terms of three-month employability, Nova SBE achieves a percentage of 99 % in this indicator, and in General Satisfaction, it achieves a score of 9 out of 10. Compared to previous editions of the ranking, the estimated salary has maintained an upward trend, rising by 15,5 % from the annual $90,000 (US dollars) in the 2021 ranking to $104,000 in 2022.

The International Master's in Finance is directed at Bachelor's students who want to have an international career after their Master's program and ambition a fast career progression in the financial area. It is a highly selective three-semester Master's Program that provides students with the tools, concepts, and training to succeed in an international context. Students graduating from this Master's typically pursue an international career in multinational organizations in the financial area.
