Nova School of Business & Economics (Nova SBE) will host yet another important academic conference, the prestigious 2024 Statistical Conference in E-Commerce Research (SCECR).

Created in 2005 by Ravi Bapna, Wolfgang Jank, and Galit Shmueli, SCECR aims to attract researchers in different areas (information systems, quantitative marketing, economics, statistics, and computer science, among others) to continually debate and use different domains and data and analyze their impact on the world today.

In 2024, the conference will take place at Nova SBE from June 19 to June 21, and its main theme will be “Looking into the next 20 years of Information Systems Research”.

The organizing team includes Nova SBE Michail Batikas, Rodrigo Belo, and Michael Kummer. This edition will cover topics such as e-commerce, social networks, digital content, finance, and telecommunications. See the full program here.
