Nova SBE Health & Management Knowledge Center study analyzed “Besides the virus, what is still there?” and found that, from an economic point of view, the expectations of most Portuguese people for the near future are very pessimistic. “At the beginning of the lack of definition, economic prospects are black”, there is a slight tendency to reduce isolation, a decrease in concern and less monitoring of information. This analysis also found that, despite the end of the state of emergency and the economic effects of the lockdown, the "Portuguese consider that it is too early to suspect". It was also possible to verify that “62% of the Portuguese preferred to continue in remote work”. The end of the state of emergency changed the consumption habits of the Portuguese and with regard to their professional situation, work at home seems to have come to stay.
