Luis Vasconcelos is a visiting professor at Nova School of Business and Economics and a Professor of Economics at the University of Technology Sydney.

He holds a PhD in Economics from Northwestern University and a Licenciatura in Economics from Universidade Nova de Lisboa. His main areas of research are Organizational Economics, Contract Theory, and Industrial Organization. His research has been published in journals such as the Review of Economic Studies, the Rand Journal of Economics, the American Economic Journal, Management Science, and the Review of Finance, among others.

He has taught undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral courses, covering topics from advanced Microeconomic Theory to more applied subjects like Corporate Strategy.
