Benoit Decreton is an Assistant Professor in Strategy at Nova SBE. Previously, he was a visiting scholar at INSEAD and at Stanford University. He received his PhD from WU Vienna and Master degrees from Copenhagen Business School and from CEMS. Benoit lived in France, Germany, Denmark, Hong Kong, Austria, the USA, and Portugal.His research interests lie at the intersection of global strategy and corporate entrepreneurship. Benoit studies the organization of innovation in subunits of multinational firms such as foreign subsidiaries, innovation scouting units, and corporate accelerators. Some of his current work is based on fieldwork he conducted in Silicon Valley. His research appeared in the Journal of Management Studies, the Global Strategy Journal, the California Management Review, among others. Benoit is on the Editorial Board of the Global Strategy Journal and a Representative-at-Large for the Global Strategy Interest Group of the Strategic Management Society.
