Vitor Cavalcante is a PhD student at Nova School of Business and Economics. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Economics from Insper and a Master's degree in Economics from Nova SBE. Following his master's studies, Vitor engaged in several initiatives in economic research, including the development and implementation of large-scale randomized controlled trials in Sub-Saharan Africa and Portugal. Prior to joining the PhD program at Nova SBE, he worked as a Predoctoral Fellow at the University of Milano-Bicocca and LEAP. His primary research interests lie in Development Economics, International Trade and Political Economy, with a particular focus on Private Sector Development and International Migration.
