Ertunc Aydogdu is a financial economist specialising in financial intermediation and regulation, household finance, and financial technologies. His research focuses on developing and estimating quantitative models with high-quality microeconomic data in order to provide policymakers with critical evidence on the broader impact of institutional changes in specific markets. In support of this agenda, he has collaborated with renowned policy institutions, including the Bank of England, the Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey, and De Nederlandsche Bank. He holds a bachelor's and master's degree in Economics from Bogaziçi University in Turkey and a master's and doctorate in Finance from Tilburg University in the Netherlands.
