José Miguel Leonardo served as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Randstad Portugal, a prominent company in the Human Resources Services sector, for a decade, relinquishing this role in April 2023. At present, he holds the position of Vice President on the National Board of the Red Cross and actively engages as a non-executive director with other organizations. With a degree in Civil Engineering from the Instituto Superior de Engenharia de Lisboa, José Miguel Leonardo supplemented his education with executive programs in "Management & Finance" at INSEAD Business School in France, "Entrepreneurship" at IMD Business School in Switzerland, and "Transformational Leadership" at the London Business School in the United Kingdom. With extensive international exposure across diverse industries, prior to his tenure at Randstad, he spent approximately four years leading the electronic security division of the American group Stanley Black & Decker in Portugal and Italy. Preceding this, he held several high-ranking management roles over a span of fourteen years at the multinational Dow Chemical Company. This tenure provided him with invaluable experience working and residing in various countries. Also noteworthy is his experience in the SME segment, both as a manager and as an investor. José Miguel Leonardo has been specializing in Change Management and Organizational Transformation as an executive, with a strong emphasis on People and Leadership. He is a frequent guest speaker at forums focusing on leadership and talent management, sharing his knowledge and experiences in these domains.
