António Freitas Miguel is a Full Professor of Finance at Nova SBE. He holds a Postdoc in Finance from Bayes Business School, London, and a PhD in Finance from ISCTE–Instituto Universitário de Lisboa.
His research interests include mutual funds and international investments. His work has been published in the Review of Finance, the Journal of Corporate Finance, and the Journal of Banking and Finance, among others. He received research grants from the Portuguese Foundation for Science and Technology (FCT) to develop research on international mutual funds.
He currently teaches corporate finance in the undergraduate, postgraduate, and executive programs.
Prior to joining Nova SBE, he served as an Associate Professor with “Agregação” at ISCTE–Instituto Universitário de Lisboa.
