Prof. Miller is undertaking research on regenerative and purpose-driven businesses. He is keen to hear from potential PhD students who would like to support this work, investigating any aspect of this growing approach to business. A strong element to Prof. Miller’s research has been the sustainability of the travel and tourism industry, and in particular, the improved measurement of sustainability through indicators. With a growing number of systems being developed, research around the consolidation, and greater use of technology to improve the data for managing sustainability is encouraged. A final theme to his research is around interventions to accelerate the sustainability transition amongst senior leaders of organisations.
