This stream is perfect for those who wish to pursue a Master’s in Management and aspire to build a career in the fields of hospitality, tourism, and entertainment.

The tourism and hospitality sector encompasses a wide range of areas, from accommodation and catering to travel agents, tour operators, and transport services, such as aviation. Additionally, it includes tourism services like festivals, entertainment, art, and culture. Hospitality, understood as a mindset of serving others, also extends to other sectors focused on customer experience and relations, such as fashion, sports, or even healthcare management.

Portugal is the ideal destination to deepen your knowledge in this field, as tourism and hospitality are strategic pillars of the national economy and a fundamental part of public policy strategy.

At Nova SBE, with the support of the Nova SBE Westmont Institute of Tourism & Hospitality, students have the opportunity to develop management skills through a broad selection of elective courses — such as sustainability, digital innovation, entrepreneurship, finance, or real estate — applying this knowledge directly to the tourism and hospitality sector.

In addition to the academic component, students benefit from direct contact with the industry, gaining enriching professional experiences in the sectors they are most passionate about. Our students have already collaborated with renowned companies such as Marriott, Hilton, IHG, Westmont Hospitality Group, Benfica, Sporting, CUF, and Ikea. Our ambition is to continue expanding this network of partnerships both nationally and internationally.

Innovation Projects

The Area of Expertise in Hospitality & Customer Experience also includes a complementary innovation program that will guide students on an entrepreneurial journey where they can develop their creativity and entrepreneurial skills, their projects, and even potentially start their businesses.

The Nova SBE Westmont Institute of Tourism & Hospitality team will support students in developing their innovation projects through regular contact with relevant corporate partners.
