Andre Silva é professor associado na Nova School of Business and Economics. Antes da Nova SBE, trabalhou na Accenture como consultor e leccionou na Universidade de Chicago. Andre Silva é investigador em Finanças e Macroeconomia. Tem investigação sobre inflação, fluxos de capital e inovação. Tem apresentado a sua investigação em conferências internacionais, tais como as conferências da Associação Económica Americana, da Sociedade Econométrica, e da Associação Americana de Finanças. Andre Silva publicou em revistas académicas como a Review of Financial Studies, Economic Theory,o Journal of Development Economics, e o American Economic Journal:Macroeconomics.
