The Sustainable Development Impact Summit, an event that gathers entrepreneurs, scientists, academics, and other renowned figures, will take place in September 2019, in Portugal, and Nova School of Business & Economics (Nova SBE) will host the event in its bright new campus, in Carcavelos.

The goal will be the discussion of environmental, social, and economic sustainability to comply with the United Nations’s 2030 agenda – Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). It will also be discussed the democratization of such goals, its real impact on people’s lives, and alternative sustainable modules of development and growth.

Luís Veiga Martins, Nova SBE’s Chief Sustainability Officer, was at this new forum’s launch, in New York City, last September 26th 2018, in which the General Assembly of the United Nations defined the creation of the High-Level Political Forum, in order to increase the efforts made on solving global, social, and environmental challenges.

The Sustainable Development Impact Summit will take place at September 09th, at Nova SBE, which will organize the summit alongside the Municipality of Cascais, the UN Global Compact – Network Portugal, and the Sustainable Society Initiative.
