The Amélia de Mello Foundation, in partnership with Nova School of Business & Economics (Nova SBE), will launch, next March 10, the life story of José Miguel Leal da Silva, one of several “Stories of Leadership,” dedicated to national managers that the partnership between the two institutions celebrates and highlights with this collection.
Next March 10, at 5.00 pm, in the auditorium of the Municipal Library of Barreiro, José Miguel Leal da Silva’s biography, Researcher and NOVA University of Lisbon – School of Social Sciences and Humanities (NOVA FCSH) Professor, will be launched. This is the third book of the “Stories of Leadership of the 20th Century” book collection, which makes the story of remarkable Portuguese figures known to the public.
Aside from the author and the biography recipient, the President of the Amélia de Mello Foundation, Vasco de Mello, the President of the Municipality of Barreiro, Frederico Rosa, the President of Bondalti, João de Mello, and Nova SBE Professor Miguel Pina Cunha, the current project coordinator, will be present.
“Stories of Leadership of the 20th Century” is a collection dedicated to relevant Portuguese managers resulting from the historical, economic, and social research program about the Portuguese society that integrates one of the many initiatives under FAM’s Chair, attributed to Professor Miguel Pina e Cunha.
