The biggest conference cycle about Economics, entirely organized by students in Portugal, Economia Viva, is back at Nova School of Business & Economics (Nova SBE) with renowned national and international speakers to bring forward important debates and help society reflect on some of the most pressing political and economic issues of nowadays.
From February 7 to 11, Nova SBE will welcome the seventh edition of Economia Viva, a unique conference cycle aimed at discussing pressing subjects of nowadays with several prominent national and international personas in the field. This year, among other distinguished guests, Vítor Constâncio, Former Vice-President of the European Central Bank, Nicolas Schmit and Elisa Ferreira, European Commissioners, and Lídia Pereira, Maria Manuel Leitão Marques and Maria de Graça Carvalho, members of the European Parliament, have confirmed their presence.
After an edition that took place entirely online, Economia Viva is back once more at the Nova SBE campus in Carcavelos, and anyone outside Nova SBE's community is invited to attend and foster the development of their critical economic thinking.
Organized by the Nova SBE Students Union and by the Nova Economics Club since 2016, this is a unique event that takes place for a week and is aimed at providing healthy discussions and exchange of ideas to help society reflect and, most importantly, young economists think about their future responsibilities.
Make sure you register your presence here, and if you're unable to attend, you can watch the event via Facebook or Youtube.
