Happened at Nova | 21 September 2017 Nova SBE and Nestlé launch Nestlé Fora da Casca Program

Nestlé Portugal and Nova School of Business and Economics will launch today, at 4 p.m., at Nestlé’s headquarters, in Linda-a-Velha, the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Program Nestlé Fora da Casca, through which startup companies and entrepreneurs are challenged to develop and implement projects in strategic areas such as Nutrition, Healthcare, and Well-Being.

Driven by this unique partnership, Nestlé Fora da Casca Program aims to identify and select startups and entrepreneurs who want to grow by exploiting synergies, and want to create new paths and future ideas with Nestlé through mentorship, training, and an original cowork space.

To apply, candidates must submit a project that responds to one or more of five challenges from the following themes: Family, Beyond Product, Consumption, Efficiency, and Data. The program will start with 30 pre-selected projects, from which ten will go to a second phase. The jury, comprised of members of Nestlé Portugal Steering Committee and the Nova SBE Venture Lab team, will select the three winners who will obtain financing for the co-development of the pilot tests and implementation and integration of the projects.
