As the second semester of the 2020/21 academic year starts, the Nova SBE Fellowship for Excellence scholarship program, from Nova School of Business & Economics (Nova SBE), is organizing another edition of the Social Ideation Bootcamp – a challenge in which students are challenged to find solutions for social organizations.
The Social Ideation Bootcamp, an important three-day social challenge, motivates Nova SBE Fellows to help social organizations with their most pressing issues. By putting together another edition, the program aims to involve the students who were drafted into this second group by motivating them to positively transform the world while fostering their individual and collective potential and, simultaneously, helping different organizations.
The challenges cover topics such as financial management and fundraising, marketing and communication, customer/beneficiary relation, strategy, and business models. It was up to the students to find innovative and sustainable solutions for real problems, if possible, in the long run.
This is not only one of the unique and exclusive activities that the Nova SBE Fellowship for Excellence holds, but it is also an impactful initiative that is part of the Social Equity Initiative and was developed in partnership with Cascais Social Network. It aims to emphasize the interest, motivation, and involvement these students already have with social causes while preparing them for the upcoming job market and motivating them for sustainable professional development.
