The well-known Nova SBE Fellowship for Excellence scholarship program, which officially launched a new edition on September 2, organized another unique and exclusive activity – the Social Ideation Bootcamp, which is a Nova SBE event that was adapted for this program's students.
The Social Ideation Bootcamp is an important three-day social challenge in which Nova SBE Fellows are divided into two groups and per semester so that they can all participate. It aims to help impact-driven organizations and motivate students to sustainable professional development focused on impact and social responsibility.
Students were, thus, challenged to find solutions for organizations such as APPACDM Lisboa, ARIA, CADIn, Centro Social Paroquial de Alcabideche, and Centro Social Paroquial de São Domingos de Rana. These organizations' challenges covered topics such as financial management and fundraising, marketing and digital communication, customer/beneficiary relation, strategy, and business models. It was up to the students to find innovative and sustainable solutions for real problems, if possible in the long run.
This impactful initiative is part of the Social Equity Initiative and was developed in partnership with Cascais Social Network. It aims to emphasize the interest, motivation, and involvement these students already have with social causes while preparing them for the upcoming job market and motivating them for sustainable professional development.
In the second semester, there will be another edition of this Social Ideation Bootcamp. Nova SBE Fellowship for Excellence students will be challenged again to create solutions to positively transform the world while fostering their individual and collective potential.
