The 16th edition of the Primus Inter Pares award, a well-known initiative from Santander bank and Expresso that distinguishes the best Portuguese students in the areas of economics, management, and engineering, is now open to applications.
The award, which aims to make a pivotal contribution to the development of a culture of rigor and professionalism, intends to elect three future leaders and award them with a full scholarship to study for an MBA at a national or international business school. From the list of choices, the following schools feature IESE, IE Business School, The Lisbon MBA (from Católica-Lisbon and Nova School of Business & Economics), ISCT, ISEG, and Porto Business School.
Tomás Ambrósio (Bachelor’s in Economics and Master’s in Finance from Nova SBE) was the winner of last year’s edition. Nova SBE students have traditionally done very well in this competition.
To apply, students must be of Portuguese nationality, be less than 26 years old, and be in their final year of a Master’s program. They should also have an undergraduate degree in Economics, Business Management, or Engineering.
Applications run until February 11, 2020.
Nova SBE students who are interested can read the regulation here. Then head over to our Career & Corporate Placement Office (Hovione Atrium, room A206), where the team will help you gather together all the necessary documents and process your application for you.
Egor is the company responsible for managing final applications and for organizing several tests to select the five finalists who will be presented to the jury.
