On June 3rd, 4th, and 5th, Nova School of Business & Economics (Nova SBE) will welcome, at its Carcavelos Campus, a unique conference about the economic development in Africa with renowned international speakers.

Knowing and valuing the importance of investigation and experimentation that results in positive change in the world, the Nova SBE NOVAFRICA Knowledge Center, a well-known knowledge center that aims to produce expertise with an impact on business and economic development in Africa, will organize a unique conference with some of the most renowned speakers in this field of studies.

The 2019 NOVAFRICA Conference on Economic Development in Africa will take place on June 3rd, 4th, and 5th, at the school’s campus, in Carcavelos, and will cover several subjects on the broad theme of economic development in Africa, such as financial inclusion, natural resource management, migration and refugees, the quality of health and education, among others.

Among the speakers are academics such as Paul Collier (University of Oxford), Gerard Padro-i-Miquel (Yale University), Tavneet Suri (MIT), and Leonard Wantchekon (Princeton University).
