The main initiative of the Leadership & Society Forum, one of the main events and one of the many activities promoted by the Leadership Chair of Fundação Amélia de Mello and Nova School of Business & Economics (Nova SBE) returns in 2019 for the “Paradox & Sustainability” Conference.
The conference will take place May 24th, from 09:00 a.m. to 06:00 p.m., in Nova SBE’s Main Gallery, and will discuss the paradoxes that leaders all around the world are confronted with that have no definitive solutions. This year’s edition will consider that scenario and will focus mainly on tensions that arise when managers deal with sustainability issues.
“Paradox & Sustainability” invited international researchers, the corporate world, and society, in general, to come up with executable problem-solving solutions for society and all of its areas. Among the invited speakers are renowned international researchers such as Subi Rangan, Marianne Lewis, Paula Jarzabkowski, and Tobias Hahn. Cristina Campos (Novartis), Rui Diniz (Grupo José de Mello), Miguel Pinto Luz (Vice-President of the Municipality of Cascais), and Pedro Norton (Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation) will also be present.
You can check the conference’s full program here, register, and confirm your presence here. Any further questions you may have about the conference, its agenda, or your participation must be forwarded to the leadershipchair@novasbe.pt email.
This will be one of the many activities promoted by the Fundação Amélia de Mello, which intends to be recognized as a collaborative space between science and society.
