Located at the Carcavelos Campus, this space will go beyond delivering public services. It will function primarily as an experimental lab, where new approaches will be tested with the direct involvement of Nova SBE students.

Through collaborative projects, applied research, and real-life testing, the Citizen Lab will help close the innovation cycle—moving from design to user-centered experimentation, before broader rollout across the national network.

It will also serve as a co-creation hub between academia and the public sector, fostering synergies that accelerate administrative modernization and boost the societal impact of the knowledge generated at Nova SBE.
