Founded in 2018 by José Sacadura and Thomas Monteiro, two Nova SBE Alumni, together with two other entrepreneurs, Powerdot is an electric vehicle charging point operator based in Portugal with operations in Spain, France, Belgium, Luxembourg, and Poland.  

The startup has just received a 100-million-euro investment, which is vital in consolidating its mission to decarbonize European mobility. Today, Powerdot has 5000 charging points installed, and with the investment now raised, it aims to reach 15000 by 2025.  

The value of the investment will also allow Powerdot to finance 260 million euros on its operating markets by 2025, including Portugal (30 million euros), Spain (30 million euros), France (153 million euros), Belgium (5 million euros) and Poland (42 million euros).
