Nova School of Business & Economics (Nova SBE) has once again reaffirmed its commitment to sustainability and positive societal impact by securing a prominent position on the Positive Impact Ranking. This recognition highlights the organization's continuous efforts to make a difference in the world through responsible and ethical business practices.
The Positive Impact Ranking, released annually, evaluates business schools worldwide on their dedication to creating a positive impact on society and the environment. The ranking assesses schools based on three main criteria: education, research, and operations. It aims to shed light on the role of business schools in fostering social responsibility, ethical leadership, and sustainable practices among future business leaders.
In this year's edition, the fourth since this indicator exists, 71 business schools located in five continents and 25 countries participated, from where a total of 12,836 student responses made the ranking. Portugal was represented this year by three schools: Nova School of Business & Economics, ISCTE Business School and ISEG Lisbon School of Economics & Management. All three are ranked at level 4, the second best level on a scale of 1 to 5.
Nova SBE is described as a "transformative school" for the culture of positive impact embedded in its genesis, management, and programs. In this category are also other internationally known schools, such as ESADE Business School (Spain) or Imperial College Business School (United Kingdom).
