Nova School of Business & Economics (Nova SBE) was the big winner of the Human Resources 2023 Awards, in the Educational Institutions category.
These awards annually recognize the "Best Companies" and the best professionals in People Management fields.
All winners of the 31 categories were a result of the voting done by the readers of Human Resources Portugal and other publications of the Multipublicações group, except for three categories: Career Awards, Personality of the Year, and Communication in People Management.
"This recognition is nothing more than a reflection of the incredible work our teams do every day and the absolutely fantastic culture we live in the Carcavelos Campus. This award is from every Nova SBE employee - from the incredible work that each of us does so that Nova SBE can be an example of how education goes far beyond what happens in a classroom. This recognition values, above all, the impact we create - and want to continue to create - in our community," says Joana Pita Negrão, Executive Director of People & Culture at Nova SBE.
Pedro Brito, Associate Dean of Nova SBE, adds: "Nova SBE has a very clear mission, which is to positively impact our society through three major dimensions: the production of applied knowledge, innovation in business, and educate with a purpose. We only have this ability to positively impact society because our community recognizes our value and our mission."
In total, 31 distinctions were awarded, 25 of which were given to companies and the remaining six to personalities from the People Management universe. The ceremony took place this Wednesday, May 31, at O Clube - Monsanto Secret Spot, in Lisbon. The ceremony was conducted by Rodrigo Gomes, RFM radio host and RTP1 reporter.
