It is advised that you report to the school to get personalized support, get answers for any questions that may arise during isolation, get assistance if needed, and help trace your high-risk contacts to stop contagion chains. You can find more information about the support of the school in the "Community Support" section.

We want to support everyone from the Nova SBE community even if they have not been on campus, so the burden caused by this situation is reduced as much as possible, and everyone's well-being is maintained.  You can find more information about the support of the school in the "Community Support" section.

You can take a PCR or a rapid antigen test at NOVA Medical School. Nova SBE and NOVA Medical School have a protocol that allows the Nova SBE community to be tested for a lower price. You can find more information about these procedures in the "Community Support" section.

Streaming of classes will only be available in exceptional circumstances upon approval from the Pedagogical Council. You can find more information about these procedures in the "Academic Information" section.

Exams are expected to be taken only on Campus. Students in exceptional circumstances can request alternative evaluations, which need to be approved by the Pedagogical Council in every case. You can find more information about these procedures in the "Academic Information" section.

As of now, Portugal introduced several traveling restrictions. We would recommend you keep an eye on the most recent updates.

  • Portugal authorized flights from EU member states, Schengen Associated countries (Liechtenstein, Norway, Iceland, Switzerland), Australia, Brazil, Canada, Chile, China, South Korea, United States of America, Jordan, Kuwait, New Zealand, Qatar, Rwanda, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Taiwan, Ukraine, United Kingdom, Uruguay and special administrative regions of Hong Kong and Macao
  • From some countries, only travels for essential purposes (e.g., studying) are permitted - India, Nepal, and South Africa. Passengers traveling from these countries are also required to comply with a quarantine of 14 days after arriving in Portugal.
  • Passengers coming from Brazil, India, Nepal, South Africa, and the UK must complete the form on the travel.sef.pt platform.
  • It is required to present a negative result of a SARS-Cov-2 test that should be taken a maximum of 72 hours (PCR test) or 48 hours (rapid antigen test) before the flight 
  • The presentation of the EU Digital COVID Certificate of vaccination or recovery exempts the fulfillment of quarantine or isolation, as well as the presentation of a SARS-Cov-2 test.
  • Flights intended to allow the return to Portugal of national citizens or foreign citizens holding authorization to a residence in Portugal.
