Before entering academia, he spent over a decade in multinational corporations in the US and the UK, working in country and product management roles, and later founded and managed entrepreneurial ventures.
His research sits at the intersection of international strategy and organizational behavior. He examines how managers and founders shape firms’ internationalization strategies, with a particular focus on SMEs and family businesses. Drawing on qualitative methodologies, his work investigates the interplay between business models, organizational narratives, and institutional logics in shaping strategic outcomes.
He teaches International Management, Global Strategy, and Organizational Behavior. An advocate of the case study method, he has authored award-winning cases (Winner of the FAE/EDP Case Study Competition 2015; 2nd place in 2017), and his teaching emphasizes critical thinking, active engagement, and the integration of theory with practice.
