Qiwei Han won a competition for Exploratory Projects under the Carnegie Mellon Portugal Program, as a partner of FCT-NOVA. With the project – Trustworthy data science for improving healthcare efficiency: the case of the medical referral process – coordinated  by Cláudia Soares (FCT-NOVA), Nova SBE receives €34,595.86. This call intends to support teams that gather researchers from Portuguese institutions, Carnegie Mellon University (CMU) and business partners, to initiate research activities with high impact potential and strategic relevance for the Carnegie Mellon Portugal Program (CMU Portugal).
