José Tavares coordinated a study about Cultural Heritage
The study Cultural Heritage: Assessment of Economic and Social Value points out the need for a National Strategy for Cultural Heritage that involves new public policies that combine heritage, tourism and education. The study was carried out by Nova SBE, Spira, Observatório do Património and Fundação Millennium bcp. For José Tavares, one of its coordinators, “this is an opportunity to measure how the Portuguese cultural heritage can create value and assert itself as an essential factor in the country's cohesion.”
