João Vaz holds a PhD in Economics from the University of Wyoming (2020). His fields of interest are behavioral, environmental, and natural resource economics. He previously worked as a postdoctoral researcher in environmental economics at the University of Gothenburg (2020-2023). He was affiliated with the interdisciplinary research institutes Beijer Institute of Ecological Economics (2019-2022) and Biodiversity and Ecosystem Services in a Changing Climate (BECC) (2020-2023).
