Maria José Nogueira de Albuquerque Vaz Caldas, is an Assistant Professor (Adjunct) at Nova School of Business and Economics.
She received a Bachelor ´s degree in Business (Licenciatura, 5 years) from Instituto Superior de Gestão in 1989.
She is statutory auditor since 1991 and partner of "Macedo, Caldas &, Bento Sociedadede Revisores Oficiais de Contas" since 2004.
Maria José has over 25 years ´ experience providing audit, advisory services and tax advices to companies with varied business including private and public companies and non-profit institutions. Her broad range of clients enables her to audit and advise companies on a multitude of issues taking from her wide knowledge base.
She has particular interest and expertise in the area of tax income, VAT, company valuation, acquisition, mergers and demergers.
She has taught courses on Management Accounting, Finances and Analyses of Investment Projects.
